A wake up call before November 7

History has proven repeatedly that neither civilized society nor government can exist admirably without the recognition, acceptance, and submission to an Absolute Authority.

Absolute Authority is the source of moral law and the standard for value judgment. The principle of freedom demands the protection of law. There is no true freedom without law. Freedom without law is anarchy. The reverence of Absolute Authority secures a civil and just society.

The success of civil societies produced by the historic Judeo-Christian faith is due to the recognition, acceptance and submission to an ultimate divine authority. Recent events within Western society indicate a drastic divergence from the basic principle of the Judeo-Christian recognition of divine supremacy.

This divergence threatens the very pillars of a society and opens the door to civil subjectivity that inevitably results in a humanistic paradigm. The attempt to deny the necessity of the integration of faith and state within post-modern society threatens the essence of a democratic and just civilization.

The aggressive agenda to remove any reference to divine authority from the prime institutions of democracy gravitates away from the core of natural and civil law that serve as security for a sane society. This is exemplified in the removal of public prayers from our educational system, the removal of the public display of the Ten Commandments from public facilities, the devaluation of the sanctity of human life and the attempt to remove all reference to the Judeo-Christian faith in all official activities.

To survive, God's moral code must be restored once again to the heart of America. It must be returned to the culture of our present and future generations. The precepts of God's moral code are the keys to preserving our society. Today when a citizen evaluates what really is at stake, he cannot avoid the fact that the enemy is already upon us from outside and from within. Armageddon is not a clich?. It is exceedingly real.

The crucial question then is this: Is God in control?

It is certain from divine writ that He is!

Tzar Nickoly asked his physician 300 years ago whether or not the doctor had proof that God is real. After a short deliberation, the doctor came back to say: Yes, God is real and the proof is the Jews!! Despite all odds, he went on, Jews are still around while other mighty entities have been long gone.

Note this and then judge for yourself: On November 2, 1917, nothing short of a miracle took place. A letter written by Lord Balfour on behalf of the British government was delivered to Lord Rothschild, head of the British Zionist movement.

"Dear Lord Rothschild, I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of his majesty's government, the following declaration of sympathy with the Jewish Zionist aspirations, which had been submitted to and approved by the cabinet; his majesty's government views with favor the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavors to facilitate the achievement of this objective."

Two and a half millennia before, following 70 years in Babylonian captivity, King Cyrus of Persia (Iran) was moved to issue an edict stating that Jews could return to Jerusalem to rebuild their temple and city.

Holy writ states: Ezra 1:1 "Now in the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, That the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, The Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus, King of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing saying…'Thus says Cyrus, king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel, which is in Jerusalem. And whoever is left in any place where he dwells, let the men of his place help him with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, besides the freewill offerings for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.'"

What moved the king to issue the decree? The Bible yields the answer. Daniel 2:21 records that God changes times and seasons. He removes kings and raises up kings. Daniel 4:17 records that God wants the living to know that THE MOST HIGH RULES in the kingdoms of men. He gives kingdoms to whomever He will.

With the Bible as our historical record source, specifically the period of the minor prophets, note Esther 10:2 "And all his acts of power and might, together with a full account of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king had raised him, are they not written in the book of annals of the kings of Media and Persia?"

Therefore, is God real or not?

Since that is THE question, may I suggest America ponder that question before casting ballots on November 7. Instead of heeding political debates, slogans and rhetoric, listen to Esther, Ezra, Nehemiah and Daniel to permit the actual dynamic message dictate the outcome.

America, wake up, there is still time!
