Ten Commandments Commission TCC – Watchman On The Wall

Who we are:

The Ten Commandments Commission was formed in the spring of 2005. The main purpose behind the organization was to create a global think tank with the world’s leaders who have already recognized the power behind the TCC.

We are a grass root movement joined by some of the nation's largest ministries. The First Annual Ten Commandments Weekend was celebrated on Sunday May 7th 2006 . Thousands of churches and synagogues used the day to celebrate the Ten Commandments as pastors and rabbis spoke about its importance in society. One of the main planned events of the Ten Commandments Weekend was a national telecast hosted by many of the nation’s largest ministerial organizations.

The focal point is the annual Ten Commandments Weekend that will be held on the first Sunday in May. We strongly encourage all churches in the nation to participate in the celebrations by using the following guidelines:

Pulpits should be used for sermons focusing on the importance of the Ten Commandments in preserving our society and the need to bring them back to the heart and soul of the nation where they belong.
Pastors will be advised to conclude their Ten Commandments message by conducting a signing ceremony with their parishioners. The most effective way to achieve this is by having the pastor sign the Proclamation on their pulpit and then share the reason for doing so.
Parishioners are encouraged to proactively partake in the efforts to proclaim the Ten Commandments Weekend officially on the first Sunday in May. This could be most effective if members will follow the example of their pastor and sign the proclamation immediately following their May 6th Sunday service. Proclamations and signing sheets will be available to all churches in the nation and once signed, they will be collated for submission to Washington , DC .

Our objective is to have 5 million strong members/supporters and bring the Ten Commandments – Watchman United on the Wall message to every church and ministry in the nation.

DISPLAY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

We are encouraging everyone to wear the Ten Commandments Pin that we have made available as a powerful display of unity and reverence for God's holy word.

The pin is available for $15.00 and is also a unique fundraising platform. The Ten Commandments pin is available in bulk orders (50 and more) to ministries at a cost of $7.50 each, plus shipping. Financial contributions by ministries and the sale of pins are the commission's greatest sources of fundraising.

One of the ways to increase awareness and urgency was to establish a weekend in which we can come together and celebrate God's eternal moral law.

Using the recent Supreme Court rulings regarding the removal of the Ten Commandments from public places gave us a golden opportunity to use this as a unifying cause among a vast number of conservative groups. The ministries agreed to come on board and many of the most notable Christian leaders have joined. We maintain that those who care about traditional values cannot passively sit by and watch the removal of the very principles that made this country great. The Ten Commandments are the heart of all moral code and must be restored to the heart of our society.

The next focal point of this grass root movement is the second annual Ten Commandments Weekend held on Sunday May 6, 2007 . Many churches have already announced that May 6 will be Ten Commandments Weekend in their communities. On that day, we encourage everyone to wear the Ten Commandments Pin that we have made available trough the service of a fulfillment house.

World leaders have already recognized the power behind the TCC. Here is but one example:

Recently in Washington DC , a meeting with former President of Spain Jose Aznar and Ron Wexler took place. The discussion concerned the role of NATO in fighting terrorism and helping maintain global stability.

Mr. Aznar, who has been a consistent ally of the US and Israel in the war on terror, was in Washington for meetings and to speak at the Hudson Institute, a Washington, DC public policy think tank.

These and other meetings paved the way for the Ten Commandments Commission and its Action Alert arm to provide valuable insight and answers to the war on terror.

Dr. Wexler and President Aznar agreed that a modified NATO could be instrumental in aggressively combating Islamic terrorism if it were to use all the resources at its disposal. Both leaders agreed on the importance of bringing together other conservative leaders in Europe and globally to discuss strategies for fighting terrorism. We are looking forward to expanding our influence with contributions from other international leaders.

Dr. Wexler and President Aznar agreed on full cooperation on several issues including an agreement to formulate a U.S-European think tank regarding global threats. This is where the Ten Commandments Commission – Watchman On The Wall will play a vital role, as we were founded as an ‘Action Alert Commission’ and voice to keep cultural, religious, and governmental decision makers apprised of these types of important developments.

Both leaders agreed to meet again in the near future to discuss a proposal regarding the re-structuring of NATO based upon the principles of democracy, tolerance, individual liberties, and the rule of law.

“WATCHMEN UNITED ON THE WALL” mission also includes:

Efforts to help restore the futility of the depleted “Garden of Eden” through the regeneration of the land: rich, fertile soil in which to grow healthy, life-sustaining vegetation and livestock. This new breakthrough in organic soil conditioning was developed by a group of Believers and respected Agricultural Scientists. It uses a ‘Sustainable’ approach which focuses on maintaining the resources the Creator has given us, and not depleting them. The system in its early stages has already proven to revolutionize conventional agricultural methods to a more natural system that builds soil organic matter and humus levels, thus yielding a much greater quality and larger quantity of food products.

It is the intention of the Ten Commandment Commission to make this revolutionary system available to Third World nations, especially those who are starving and/or undernourished due to erosion and depletion of topsoil.

TCC will be adding a page to its website which will give more information on man’s role in God’s earth. In addition to inspirational excerpts from Genesis which describe God’s original intent for us to live peacefully and healthy in balance with nature, this page will also include links to scientific research on this organic soil conditioning system and its practical applications.
TCC will become Watchmen for curricula being disseminated throughout American public high schools and colleges, specifically regarding the history of the Middle East and the current conflict that is biased toward Islamic interest. We recently discovered that huge sums of money had been given to US Universities by Saudi Arabia to write such curricula and foster research to substantiate their cause. It is TCC’s intent to stop this practice and insure that the curriculum being taught to our youth is accurate, truthful and balanced in the perspectives presented.

TCC will also create a page on its website to illuminate viewers on this important and potentially dangerous practice. It will also have links to scholarly research regarding the above topic and its implications.
